Useful to know
Before you book.
What does a consultation cost?
Adult consultations are R350 and children’s consultations are R250. Payment details are shared privately when the practice confirms your appointment.
Can I get a prescription or medical certificate online?
Yes, when clinically appropriate after a consultation. Prescriptions and medical certificates can be sent electronically. Some concerns need an in-person examination or tests first, and Dr Ntsaba will explain if that applies.
Can my child be seen virtually?
Yes. Children’s consultations are R250. A parent or legal guardian must request the appointment, give consent and be present or immediately available for the video call.
What if I need to cancel or move my appointment?
Contact the practice at least 4 hours before the confirmed time to cancel or reschedule without charge. Late cancellations and missed appointments are reviewed case by case and may not be refundable.
Can I consult from anywhere in South Africa?
Yes, provided the concern is suitable for remote care. Consultations are available nationwide by WhatsApp Video, Google Meet, Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
Is this an emergency service?
No. For chest pain, difficulty breathing, stroke symptoms, serious injury or any life-threatening situation, call 112 from a mobile phone or 10177 for ambulance services in South Africa.
